What you will find in Samoa are some of the best natural herbs and medicianal products around. From Sasalapa or Soursop, to Mangosteen, mangos, bananas, tumeric, tapioca, taro, breadfruit, and yes even cacao or koko as we call it in Samoa.

Through out the history of the Samoan' people, locals have used various local plants for food such as Laupele leaves, Lemon Grass, Ginger Roots, lemon and soursop leaves, as well as taro leaves, heart of the palm, and pili nuts. Samoa uses local fish and has acres of farming land on the big island. The fertile land helps anyone grow a small garden. With the help of outside countries, many farmers are also using hydroponics for their crops such as lettuce, cabbage, and other leafy greens.

You can find many produce items and more at the Fugalei and Salelologa Makets, send us an email if you need more information.
